Angry Birds Attractions Open in Finnish Theme Park

If you are a fan of Angry Birds you will be excited to hear that you can now get up close and personal with your favourite gaming heroes following the opening of a new 12 ride attraction at a theme park in Finland, the home country of developers Rovio.

Särkänniemi Theme Park has now officially opened their doors for the summer season and have issued an excited statement that has revealed that they have added the new attraction into their park, a massive step towards increasing the popularity of the theme park globally as visitors from all over the world are expected to travel to the attraction in order to witness the ultimate Angry Birds attraction.

The 12 rides have been created by the theme parks’ staff alongside the Rovio development team to ensure that the rides are image perfect to tie in with the game that truly have taken over the mobile gaming world since its release and with their latest addition to the series, Angry Birds Space, already hitting more than 50 million downloads, the brand continues to break records within the market, showing just how strong the interest is in the game.

According to Särkänniemi Theme Park CEO Miikka Seppala, the new attractions will be a massive hit with anyone that loves the Angry Birds brand, especially families and children, and so the park are expecting to see a popular buzz surrounding their latest build.

Seppala described their newest addition as “a must see for any Angry Birds fan” and with this being the first placement in the world, popularity seems to indicate that the attraction could well pull in millions of visitors over the coming summer as every fights to be one of the first to see what the Angry Birds have to offer.

Reports show that the attraction will be more than just simply 12 rides that bare the face of the characters of the game, saying that there will be interactive areas in which visitors will be able to play the Angry Birds games for free, something that will definitely be welcomed by those that have children that don’t have access to the game via a mobile device.
