Angry Birds Set To Swoop onto Your TV and into Local Parks

Following what Rovio consider to be a successful launch of their second Angry Birds game offering, we have seen reports that the loveable characters are set to invade your life even further following plans to have a children’s television series created that will see the birds go head to head with many of the children’s favourites such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

The television series is said to be already within the planning and execution stages with a release date still yet to be given but with the speed that Rovio have been able to release a second gaming title within, you can be sure that you will be seeing those Angry Birds hitting your screen sooner rather than later.

According to reports, the series of children’s television will offer a deeper look into the birds and will take you back to the days that the make believe characters were happy, allowing you to see why they grew so angry in the first place.

Although the addition of a children’s tv series will heavily increase the brand awareness of Angry Birds, Rovio are still pushing to have those loveable characters even further into your life with the announcement that they intend to have children’s play areas all over the world that will feature their trademarked characters, the first one being revealed this month in Finland where the company originates from.

As well as these two huge movements that are thought to be set to send the brand mainstream, there is also rumours that there is a full length feature film that is in the planning and that will be released in 2015 once they have created enough of an awareness to be able to ensure that they can raise the demand for such an addition.

With tv series, play centres and films all planned, you can be sure that Angry Birds Space is not going to be the last addition into the gaming aspect of the brand either, with many already calling for Rovio to get into the development labs to be thinking about a more indepth game that would potentially be available within the console gaming niche as well as through mobile elements as they are currently accessible to.
